BMW Germany Delisted from Google

Google has delisted the BMW Germany website for stuffing their pages full of keywords that are only visible to search engine spiders. When an actual user visits the site, the page is rendered normally thanks to some javascripting…. This is in direct violation of the Google Webmaster Guidelines.
This happens all the time. I have had consultations with clients who had been given proposals by other SEO’s to create pages just for search engines and other blackhat techniques. Sometimes these techniques go un-noticed and work for a while, but eventually, they get found out. It’s good to see Google is trying to clean up its index and make an example of a large company like BMW.
One thing is for sure… I wouldn’t want to be the SEO who worked on this site 
Why is BMW, particularly BMW IN GERMANY, using questionable gimmicks for SEO? Surely the naturally occuring links to their site would put them at or near the top of any relevant search.
